Volunteer Week 2015

(please click on title for full post with photo) The week of April 12 is one to celebrate volunteers across the country. On Wednesday of this week, I was pleased to hear a special statement made by a South Simcoe athlete, thanking the volunteers for what they do. Pictured here is athlete Diana with coach Gord. Thank you Diana for expressing in words what so many athletes, supporters, other volunteers and SOO staff feel throughout the year!

Dear Bowlers and all volunteers,

In bowling, Gord is a very hard worker and Katie is a very good lady. Mark does an excellent job at what he does. All the volunteers do their very best. They organize and helped us so much in 2015. Without all of you we would not be able to have a bowling league. We are very glad and thank you, to all of you. Thank you once again. Have a very safe summer everybody in bowling, and volunteers.
