Your DD on the Road!

(Click on the heading for the full story with photos.) I was very pleased in November to head to Schomberg for King Speed Skating Club's inaugural meet. It was - believe it or not - my first time seeing a speed skating competition. (I think only golf, rhythmic and powerlifting remain!) The event was a generic meet, but Special Olympics athletes were included in their own divisions as well as alongside generic athletes. This was a great tune-up for upcoming Provincial Qualifiers. Well done everyone!
